This second volume of Electrical Product Compliance and Safety Engineering book is an exciting update to the first volume with content not readily known to most compliance engineers. The topics presented in this book is not taught in academia.
The first volume of this book focused on standards, design philosophy, methods for failure analysis, construction requirements, component selection and implementation, markings and labeling, human factors, testing, manufacturing for compliance and education. There is no other book that discusses these topics in extreme detail making this book a classic.
This second volume presents an enhanced approach toward product safety compliance that includes safety aspects of various product approvals, energy management, environment concerns, material science, radiation, hazardous location use and global market access. This book does not replace the outstanding content of the first volume, it enhances it with advances in safety compliance.
