SUMMARY:PCB course
DESCRIPTION:The Robotics and Automation society\, in partnership with the Power and Energy and Industrial Applications societies\, prepared a course entitled PCB Design\, which is a course about circuits printed on a board used to connect electronic components electrically as they are the basis of electronic circuits used in all electronic commercial products\, and is based on the use of a chemical solution to dissolve a conducting copper plate for electricity and leaves only the parts to be left that were previously covered with a substance that prevents the solution from reaching the copper layer\, due to the continuous development in the field of applied electronics\, many of the students have ideas for projects to implement\, but the obstacle is always at the manufacturing stage\, and how to give the project a good shape and design. Traditional methods do not suffice\, hence the need to learn a new skill\, which is how to manufacture printed circuits and the sound foundations on which to build your design. This course will be a link between theoretical content and practical application.\nCourse topics:\n1-The basics of proper design of printed circuits\n2- How to draw an electrical circuit diagram\n3- How to convert this diagram to a printed circuit\n4- Complete electronic board design and implementation\n5- Soldering the different components on the board\nThe course consisted of four meetings spreaded over two weeks\, presented by the engineers Abdullah Hinnawi and Munir Al-Agbar\, who helped and supervised the construction of the circuit from the theoretical and practical side until its end.\nNajah National University \, Nablus\, West Bank\, Palestine

SUMMARY:IEEE Xtreme
DESCRIPTION:The IEEEXtreme International Competition was held this year at An-Najah National University\, specifically at the Korean Institute. It is a global challenge in which teams of students compete in a 24-hour period to solve a set of software problems.\n16 teams of An-Najah National University students that are members of the IEEE Association participated in the competition.\nThe competition was sponsored by ASAL Technologies Company\, as the place\, food and all the necessary needs of the participating students were secured during this period of time\, as well as providing training sessions for students to be fully prepared for the competition.\nNajah National University \, Nablus\, West Bank\, Palestine

SUMMARY:Introduction and guideline for Verification
DESCRIPTION:In cooperation with Exalt Technologies company\, the RAS society hosted eng.Elyas khalili to introduce Hardware Verification to students.\nHe is a development manager in the company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in addition to a Master’s in Software Engineering from Birzeit University. He has more than 24 years of experience in managing several research and development projects that extend from Hardware Design Verification to Embedded Software. He has extensive experience in the field of complex web applications and smartphones. He established a team specialized in Hardware Design Verification to meet the growing demand in the high-speed chip industry\, the company has been able to implement many projects in this field for some of the major players in the silicon industry globally.\nSpeaker(s): eng.Elyas Khalili\,\nNajah National University \, Nablus\, West Bank\, Palestine
